Additional Information

Why is it different?
RESIST Super-Light Daily Wrinkle Defense SPF 30 contains a special blend of a lightly tinted, pure mineral zinc oxide sunscreen along with a diverse blend of antioxidants known to boost skin’s environmental defenses and prevent premature aging of skin, all with an exceptionally silky, light-matte feel.
What does it do?
An age-fighting formula that protects and fortifies skin. You’ll see a more even-looking skin tone from first use, and with daily use you’ll see that skin feels and looks firmer. This unbelievably light and silky moisturizer perfectly preps skin for makeup. The SPF 30 is a significant benefit as it decreases the risk of skin cancer and early skin aging caused by the sun if used as directed with other sun protection measures.
How to use
Use as the last step in your AM skincare routine. Apply liberally 15 minutes before sun exposure. If you don’t apply liberally, you will need to reapply every two hours after your skin is exposed to direct sunlight. If you plan to swim or perspire you must apply a water-resistant sunscreen.

Mix with Calm spf if too dark

I have very acne prone sensitive skin and can't use any chemical sunscreen. But every mineral sunscreen that I have used in the past has broken me out. I live in a perennially sunny climate so I was getting pretty desperate for a sunscreen that works! PC mineral sunscreens for n/o skin are the only ones that work for me. I have a light yellow toned skin and the the Resist Super Light is way too dark & leaves brown orange streaks on my face. The Calm spf 30 Mineral Moisturizer leaves a slight white cast on the skin so I just mix equal amounts of the two in the palm of my hand and apply. The Calm has a shinier texture so it is shinier than if I wore the Resist alone so I just powder lightly afterwards.

I looked like a circus clown!!

The tint in this product was so white and chalky I never even got out of the house wesring it!! . I don't know how anyone could find it acceptable. I rubbed it in carefully after applying the recommended amount, but still the consistency and color of it didn't get any better. I returned it almost immediately. Usually when I find a Paula's Choice product is unsatisfactory- like the terrible, non- functioning pump on the face wash- I keep trying, not wanting to go to the trouble of returning it. But this was so awful, I didn't even want it in the house!!! These products are getting so pricey, keeping a stash of those that don't work isn't feasible any longer. There are really too many to choose from these days.

New love for Paula's Sunscreen

I have eczema, sensitive, combo-dry skin in summer and dry skin in winter. I used to use La Roche Posay mineral sunscreen but found out recently it only has titanium dioxide (and no zinc oxide) so was in market to shop for a mineral sunscreen (that has zinc oxide) that my sensitive skin can use. This resist super-light sunscreen was mentioned in two of my favorite You-tubers' skin routine so I went ahead ordered it. I have been using it for 2 weeks and it goes on smooth & liquid and the tint goes away once you spread it out. I enjoy using it but deduct one star because of its SPF30 since not sure if it's enough protection for CA summer. I may layer La Roche Posay with it to boost its SPF. Other than that, I highly recommend this sun screen to anyone (even people with eczema).

Seems like a great idea

Based on all of the positive reviews I thought this would be a great product. I decided to purchase a couple of the sample products and try before buying the full size. Unfortunately this product dried me out and my skin broke out a little. I dont think the tint looked very good on my skin and the dryness was definitely odd. So far the only SPF I can use from PC is the mineral one. All of the others just dont help me.

Fabulous -Holy Grail -Replaced 5 Products

This is my holy grail product. It is my eyelid sunscreen, under eye concealer, pore eliminating primer, mattifying foundation, and moisturizer —all in one. It's replaced 5 products. My skin looks more even after just one week. It smooths my skin and negates the redness beside my nose and dark circles under eyes. This one product has simplified my morning routine, and now it's a pleasure to put on sunscreen. I'm an every-day-even-cloudy-days sunscreen user. My extremely fair skin is easily damaged by strong UV, so it is super important this stuff goes on beautifully over my eyelids and immediately under my lash line without smudging mascara. Buy it. No, buy 3 tubes.

Love this

This is not greasy at all and dries fairly matte. I have medium skin tone and then tint of this sunscreen didn't really do anything for me. It didn't make my skin lighter or anything either. I think it mostly just stops the sunscreen from having a white cast.

Good sunscreen but not oil friendly

This isn't a bad sunscreen by any means. But as someone with super oily skin, I wouldn't recommend it. It definitely made me shinier than normal. I'll keep using it for off days, but it's just too greasy for me to use everyday.

Didn't protect from sun

I used this product for the first time, and, when I I went outside for 2 hours, I was shocked when I looked in the mirror. My face was sunburned, especially, my cheeks. So, applied about twice as much the following week, and still burned. I do not recommend this product.

Love this

Great product. One of the P.C. products I've re-ordered three times. I'm very fair. Need sunscreen everyday. This is the only sunscreen I will wear Daily to work. Doesn't leave a white cast. Moisturizes. Tint is perfect subtle amount for even my paper white skin. Problems. Burns and stings the eyes something awful! Learned the hard way.

Wonderful With One Quibble

I think, like a lot of people who first see fine lines and enlarged pores from years of picking (don't do that, y'all), I tried approximately 34 sunscreens in my mid-twenties. This SPF product is wonderful, especially for a mineral sunscreen because it actually DRIES down and doesn't sit on your face in a sticky layer. This is an issue with even some of the newer generation mineral SPFs that are thinner and lighter, but still don't dry down. This does. It's very matte as advertised so if you have dry skin, this may or may not be for you although you could always try a little bit of an oil underneath before you layer this on). This has a bit of a blurring effect which is also great. There's antioxidants and a decent amount of zinc oxide. I would keep coming back to this except the tint is way too dark for me and oxidizes. I use it for when I'm running errands or on days where I don't particularly care if I look like a bit of an oompa loompa, but I can't use this in professional settings. Please PC, make this in a couple different shades! I'm begging you guys!
