I'd been using Paula's Choice Hydralight Refreshing Toner since the late 1990s, and I honestly couldn't imagine a better toner no matter how many "advances" or "trendy ingredients" arrived on the market. Resist Weightless toner is slightly less watery than Hydralight, which is just watery. Resist Weightless reminds me a little of a watery lotion, although it's not heavy. It doesn't feel like it just reinses and refreshes like most toners, it feels like it absorbs into the skin and adds hydration. It seems to lock in the products I use after it, too. I have some melasma I'm always fighting and I'm sure the Niacinimde in this is just what I need to smooth things out again. I don't feel I need a moisturizer after this, it's that hydrating and smoothing. This is becoming a standard part of my skin care, for sure.
