Why is it different?
RESIST Youth-Extending Daily Hydrating Fluid SPF 50 perfectly couples a water-light texture with proven broad-spectrum sun protection, but this advanced formula goes further by including key antioxidants that research has shown skin needs to feel firmer and look younger and more even toned.

What does it do?
Provides effective UVA/UVB protection plus hydration for a healthier, younger-looking complexion. Its satin-matte finish leaves skin feeling smooth and hydrated, never slick or greasy. It is a daytime anti-aging moisturizer those with oily skin will want to apply every day! The SPF 50 is a significant benefit as it decreases the risk of skin cancer and early skin aging caused by the sun if used as directed with other sun protection measures.
How to use

Use as the last step in your AM skincare routine. Apply liberally 15 minutes before sun exposure. If you don’t apply liberally, you will need to reapply every two hours after your skin is exposed to direct sunlight. If you plan to swim or perspire you must apply a water-resistant sunscreen.

Surprisingly good

I'm super extremely picky about my SPF because I hate the smell of sunscreen. I have combination to oily skin. I usually use a Asian branded SPF watery gel that I love, but still really want to explore. I've tried SPF from expensive brands such as La Mer and Cle De Peau, but the spf and texture of the SPF just throws me off. I wanted a SPF that I can carry with me in purse, so I decided to buy RESIST Youth-Extending Daily Hydrating Fluid SPF 50 in travel size and try it out. Although today is the first time I tried it, I'm ready to write a review on it. First of all, the smell is tolerable and not as heavy as other brands. I'm very sensitive to SPF smell, and this one is a thumbs up. The texture of this SPF is white but a bit more watery than other brands. It went out my face very smooth like a serum, and doesn't leave white marks on my face (another huge plus). I actually don't feel like I have SPF on. My skin seem to have absorbed it. This one is a bit on a moisturizing side. On bare face, I am okay with using it every day, but towards the 2nd half of the day, my face will become oily. But then that's natural for my skin. I think on days that I do put on makeup, this one won't work as well. Of course I can't review on that yet, because I haven't test it under make up. But I usually like my make up on the mattier side, so this one is a bit too moisturizing for me. Overall I really like this SPF.

Very good!!

I like this moisturizer, is lightweight, and matte. I use this in my neck and decollete and doesn't stain my clothes, I prefer mineral sunscreen for my face.

Surprisingly Excellent - Use Every Day

I am very happy with this product. Not only is it unscented and a high SPF, but it soaks in really nicely and is the perfect last step in the morning. I have dry skin and always assumed that I needed thick moisturizing creams but I think this actually does a better job despite being thin and runny. I layer it on pretty liberally after a gel-based moisturizer in the morning and because it has both water and silicone ingredients it has a bit of a tack to it for about 5 minutes so I use it as primer for my foundation and skip primer altogether - it works really well. Also because it's runny I can mix it with a few drops of matte foundation (I use cheap Maybelline Fit Me) to make a smooth tinted moisturizer on light makeup days. PLUS, if I'm out in the sun I can keep layering this on top every hour to keep up with my sunscreen and it melts in and doesn't feel like anything.

My #1 top sunscreen

I have used this product for years and it's my #1 top favorite ever. I've worn SPF 50 on my face every single day since my 20s, and now that I'm 39, other people routinely guess me to be mid-to-late 20s. The #1 best thing you can do for your skin is to wear a high-SPF sunscreen on your face every single day. This sunscreen has almost zero smell, it has a light texture that is easy to absorb, and it provides amazing anti-aging benefits. The texture is really thin and light so it spreads and applies easily. In addition to protecting your skin from the top cause of ageing, it is also full of high-tech skin-beneficial ingredients. I pour a nickel to quarter sized amount in my palm and spread it over my face, ears, and neck. One tube lasts me about 2-3 months. I have really sensitive, acne-prone skin, and this sunscreen never makes me break out. I love it and I wish it came in a bigger size!

Surprisingly awesome, with some tweaks to routine

I thought I could only use mineral sunscreens because my skin is ridiculously sensitive and a lot of sunscreens make my eyes sting and water just from sitting on my skin. However, both Hydralight / Calm for oily sunscreens, which I used to use exclusively, seemed to be drying my skin out more over the years. Skin Recovery / Calm for Dry sunscreen formulas, on the other hand, seem to create more pore issues and were just too thick in texture, leaving somewhat of a tacky finish. This stuff burned my skin the first several times I tried using it but I found a way to include it in my AM routine. Using a more hydrating toner seems to add enough cushion to the skin so that this doesn't irritate, and using a separate moisturizer around the eyes first seems to help especially with tolerance. I really like the water light texture of this sunscreen - it spreads amazingly well, doesn't clog pores or cause breakouts, and has a truly non-greasy and non-tacky finish. I was also surprised at how moisturizing this is considering it is so lightweight - I used it all winter and have continued to use it through summer. It seems to hydrate sufficiently, which is impressive given the dry climate I live in and my skin's tendency to dehydrate rapidly despite being more combo.

Like wearing nothing

My favorite thing about this is that it doesn't feel like its on. Have never liked the feel of moisturizer because my skin is already very oily. Find that I wear more of this instead of the bare minimum (which is probably too little). Love the travel size for touchups!

6 starts out of 5!

I can't get over how great this moissturize it, best one I have used so far! Super light and silky smooth. I have oily skin and usually after 2-3 hours my skin feels greasy and moisturizer too heavy. Not with this one, it keeps my oil in check and feels like I have nothing on my skin at all! Will be buying it again and again!

The BEST sunscreen on the market right now!

I have used Paula's Choice products for 20 years. This moisturizer/anti-aging sunscreen is one of my top 5 products from Paula's Choice. If you don't typically like the feel of sunscreen or how it reacts with your skin and makeup, this is the one for you. I use about a quarter size every day and give it 5-10 minutes to sink in before applying foundation. It's semi matte and not shiny or greasy. I have tried high end sunscreens and there are many good ones. I have sampled LOTS of sunscreen. This one has all the things I need and none of the things I don't want like fragrance or other items to bother my sensitive skin. Another good sunscreen from PC is the Super Light Wrinkle Defense SPF 30. Its matte, lightly tinted and gives good coverage. I tried Youth Extending SPF 50 this year and I think it's even better. I love both of these sunscreens. I think the Youth Extending SPF is the best product to protect your skin every day. And a bonus is you can get samples of all the sunscreens from PC and try them first. That's how I found my new favorite sunscreen.

At long last I have found perfection in a sun screen! It does what it is supposed to do without any of the problems I have encountered with most other brands. Okay, with ALL other brands! It doesn't make me break out; it does NOT sting my eyes like almost every other sunscreen ever; it keeps me from getting blotchy and freckly in the California sun. Also, this product seems to stay on and work for an extended amount of time, even when I'm gardening or exerting and perspiring. Oily T zone, super sensitive, easily irritated break-out prone is how I'd describe my skin. This seems a bit pricey but it actually works, so I'm back for more!

By far the best sunscreen I have ever used.

Before Paula's choice I really struggled with applying sunscreen everyday because the drugstore sunscreens are so sticky and oily. I received this sunscreen as a free travel sample and I am HOOKED. I have combination skin with a naturally ruddy appearance and this sunscreen is perfect. It dries to a matte finish and goes well underneath both my mineral makeup and my liquid makeup. The liquid texture was a little weird at first, but it really works! I love that this sunscreen does more than just protect from UVB/UVA rays; it's really an age serum too with perfect hydration for my skin. At the end of the day, my skin is a little shiny in my T-zone, but manageable. This is the best face sunscreen!
