The Best Product to Wear to Bed!

This goes on so smooth and dries nicely, but leaves you skin feeling baby-soft. I love the entire Skin Balancing line and even after I switched to the Resist line (I'm getting wrinkles), I still use this as my nighttime moisturizer. Works great at creating an even skin tone and feel and minimizes pores.

I use this after Clear cleanser, Skin Balancing toner then Clear BHA and/or 4% Resist BHA. Gentle but effective. Smaller pores!

The best moisturizer I've ever used

I use this moisturizer daily after cleansing and before makeup. Its not heavy at all and provides a smooth base for flawless makeup application. Will definitely be repurchasing.

Burns

This moisturizer burns my skin like crazy, even those areas that were never sensitive before. On the up side, it does not make my skin oily, but it is not very moisturizing either.

Not sure? Do yourself a favor and order a sample!

Just ordered a few samples from PC for the first time including samples of this, and oh my goodness I am glad I did! I have oily/relatively sensitive skin. I have been using face lotions meant for sensitive skin for a long time, which although never clogged my pores, they were always a bit too heavy for me, very "basic," and would leave me looking shiny (which I needed no help with!). I was afraid to try something else though, especially after having done multiple rounds of Accutane throughout my life, I did not want to do anything to jeopardize my now manageable skin. But this moisturizer is ahh-mazzz-ing. Immediately reminded me of a silicone makeup primer, but without any greasiness. I looked in the mirror a few minutes after application and I had zero shine, skin looked amazingly even in color and texture. Very impressed! Glad I found a product to transition from acne-focused skin care to start slowing addressing other concerns as I approach my 30's (I'm 26). If you are on the fence about trying this product, do yourself a favor and order a sample!

Sheer Delight

I have had oily skin all of my life and for this reason I have had deep cleansing facials monthly since the age of 25. I do not require intense moisturizing during the winter since my natural oils add sufficient protection. I rather like the Skin Bal Moist. Gel during the winter months because it acts as a light barrier/primer prior to applying foundation. I don't need additional moisture protection nor am I concerned by the lack of sun protection since the foundation I use has SPF protection. This is an excellent product and effective for those with oily complexions rather than dry. During the summer months I use the Skin Bal Ultra Sheer Daily Defense Broad Spectrum SPF 30. Love the Skin Balancing Line.

I like this moisturizer . It kinda goes on like a primer. It works for my skin but iff you have a drier skin, it won't be enough moisture. I will define telly keep buying it. I use it with my serum all year round . I submitted a review before but now I used it'd or 2 weeks instead off a few days. I like it. Plus it's anti wrinkle and no fragrance

It's good for shiny oily skin that needs moisture

This moisturizer. Absorbs fast and is. Good for oily or shiny skin. I do not find that it provides much moisture so I think this will work better for me in the summer. It is also suitable as a primer.

Doesn't work as described

1

I have sensitive, acne-prone, moderately oily skin. I love gel moisturizers because they're lightweight, generally don't make me break out, and wear well under makeup, which I wear most days. In terms of consistency, finish, and feel on the skin, I find this more closely resembles a silicone-based makeup primer than a gel moisturizer. It has a very smooth texture and sets to a non-greasy, satin-matte finish. I have no complaints about the texture, smell, appearance, or finish of this gel. The thing that bothers me about this product is that it is not even remotely moisturizing for me. It honestly feels like more of the formula has been devoted to silicone than moisturizing ingredients. Considering the fact that it's described as a moisturizer, this is really, really disappointing. I've been using this product for the past couple weeks as my facial moisturizer and my skin looks and feels red, dry, and irritated because this is simply not providing enough hydration. I've also noticed some unusual breakouts, redness, and rough patches that somewhat resemble eczema. I don't have eczema--I never have--so one could see why this would be concerning. Maybe this moisturizer was intended for people with oilier or less sensitive skin than mine, so if you read this review please take that into account. But for me, this moisturizer simply does not perform as described, and irritates and dries out my skin.

Not moisturizing enough

2

I'm male and have oily skin, and I use this twice a day after cleansing. It's just turned winter, and I've been using the product for a few weeks. It's not moisturizing enough; my skin is dry and flaky when I use this unless I combine it with a second/different lotion. It seems to lack much oil which I thought would be a good thing since I'm very oily, but turns out my skin needs more than this product delivers. I wonder if this would work well for me in the hot and humid summer... However, I'm also concerned that the beneficial "key ingredients" are really low quantities. For example, green tea extract is green/yellow/brown in color. Yet this product is perfectly clear. That doesn't add up.
